Kol Nidre #3 at Lincoln Center Film Festival!

“Kol Nidre #3,” a short film produced by Bill McGarvey of McG-Media, had its World Premiere at the New York Jewish Film Festival sponsored by the Film Society of Lincoln Center and the Jewish Museum. The premiere took place in the Walter Reade Theater. The film features the work of, Archie Rand and his book “The 613” and was executive produced by Rabbi Dan Ain at Because Jewish.

McG Media LLC and owner, Bill McGarvey, were featured in Sunday’s New York Times‘ #trendingnyc section in an article on Cardinal Dolan’s new twitter account. The relevant excerpt is below and the whole article can be found here.

“Bill McGarvey, whose consulting firm, McG Media, has advised religious groups about social media use, said that often the greatest challenge for religious institutions was understanding the “very dialogic and dynamic medium” they were entering — a forum in which the interplay with other users can be as important as more traditional pronouncements of faith. Indeed, Cardinal Dolan’s account currently follows no one.”
