The National Council of Elders and the King and Breaking Silence project bring together an esteemed group of veteran activists whose work and witness spans over a century. Since 2021, McG Media has been KBS/NCOE’s Director of Media and Content, establishing the organization as a thought leader through numerous multi-generational programs, workshops, and webinars. These multimedia events are designed around specific themes that are broadly related to racism, poverty, and militarism–the “triple evils” of American society that Dr. King articulated in his 1967 Riverside Church speech. They include live and prerecorded content featuring world-renowned scholars, activists, religious leaders, etc., addressing issues ranging from restorative justice and decolonization to our culture of violence.
